Description:
5mm ID Graphite Ferrule, captive type (graphite is contained within a metal band). Used with 5mm OD Glass Packed Columns on all models of GC, Injector and Detector Stainless Steel Column Adapters on all models of GC and also Injection Port Inlet Liners on GC17 and older model GCs. Either this Graphite ferrule or O-ring P4 is utilized together with joint set to install a glass packed column.

Leak free - The ferrule and nut expand and contract at the same rate eliminating any chance of leaks with temperature cycling. Nut does not need retightening after initial temperature cycles. Suitable uses: Ideal for MS interfaces and advanced flow technology due to leak-free Risks: Over-tightening of the seal can introduce leaks into the system. Follow the recommended installation instructions to avoid this problem. Operating Temperature: No temperature limit in GC use.
